Eko guitars italy3/16/2024 The face of the neck is also badly damaged and have re faced with EPOXY filler and will 2 pack the headboard and top part of the neck in black and fair the black into the main neck with a central stripe. The one I am repairing has had the neck broken at the bottom of the headboard at some time previous and has had a bad repair, however I have EPOXY glued the joint after taking it apart from the old joint and am in the process of reinforcing from behind with fine glass fiber woven cloth and EPOXY. Some belonged to Crucianelli, especially lite and the rarer names Elli-Sound and Custom Built. Those guitars seldom confess readily their true origine, they hide inside a maze of brandnames. I have only found this while sanding the headboard while repairing the neckĪfter doing a 2 part clear over the body it is very difficult to find the repair. Crucianelli guitars are very often confused with Eko and sold as such. The first guitar has a plastic piece between the machine heads on the headboard with the name ESTON on it while the one I am repairing has ESTON across the top of the headboard in the form of a decal. My first ESTON purchased second hand in 1974 does not have any other markings on the sticker inside. After a more thorough search I find that both guitars have the same number 1319 while the more recent damaged one also has model number 063 cx1000 1/74.printed on the sticker inside.īecause the number was somehow stamped onto the internal stickers it was very difficult to read. Getting back about my 2 ESTON 12 string guitars.
